As many of you are aware, Jamboard is being phased out. As sad as it is to see Jamboard go, Google has recognized that there are other whiteboard tools available that are more robust and free for educators. For those who are not aware, Jamboard is a digital whiteboard that lets you collaborate in real time using any device. In response to the news from Google, we have explored the top three recommended alternatives and concluded that FigJam, which Figma makes, is currently the most user-friendly and comprehensive tool available.
As part of the transition from Jamboard, there are two steps for current Jamboard users to complete to ensure a smooth transition.
Step 1: Sign in to FigJam (if you have not used Jamboard and want to try FigJam complete only this step)

Step 2: Import Google Jamboards to FigJam
Migrate existing Google Jamboard files to FigJam in a few steps:
Imported files are added to your file browser. To add content from a Jamboard to an existing FigJam file, you can copy and paste objects between FigJam files. You also watch a video to assist with this step.
