What is a support ticket system?

Our AFNTS support ticket system is a tool that organizes user concerns or questions throughout our organization. We promote this tool so that we can create a documented trail for each incident or request.  As the request comes through, a record is created and an AFNTS representative is assigned to the record, that representative will update the notes and reply directly to the user who opened the ticket.  

Mi’kmaw Kina'matnewey encourages users to use the Support Ticket System when technical or network-related issues arise. 

Examples of technical areas that we oversee:

  • iPad and macOS applications and licensing
  • iPad and macOS desktop support
  • Wi-Fi related concerns
  • Network and connectivity issues or notices
  • Various technical consultations
