For this Fall 2024 issue we are highlighting some more resources including our Technology Implementation Framework, as well as two Surveys we have created you can use to map out a journey that will lead to students and staff using technology to facilitate learning and creativity.

As always, we want to remind you that

these resources are considered templates

you are free to modify it to suit your needs.

If you feel like this is daunting, we have two resources you can use to get started. The first resource is for the team of school staff that will be helping teachers with the surveys. For this resource, there are three versions for different grade ranges in schools. If your school spans more grades than any one document, read through the one that encompasses the highest grade levels at your school. For a school that spans all three, it might be worth looking at 5-8 and 9-12 and making changes to be somewhere in between.

The three versions are below:

Overview Document (P-4 Schools) - Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey Technology Implementation Standards

Overview Document (5-8 Schools) - Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey Technology Implementation Standards

Overview Document (9-12 Schools) - Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey Technology Implementation Standards

Once your team has reviewed the Overview Document, they can share the next Introduction Document with the teachers that will be participating in the surveys.

Finally, we have linked below the survey for Teachers and the survey that covers the school overall.
