AFNTS and ISC-FNIHB eHealth Program have a key relationship to work in collaboration to plan, implement and support all things related to eHealth in First Nations Health centres. These services include connectivity, virtual care, education, community projects, deployments , assessments and privacy.

Telehealth Services & Training

AFNTS coordinates with our Atlantic First Nation communities and Provincial health partners to ensure successful telehealth connections are made - to support access to health care services and work towards better patient outcomes and the future of health care in First Nation communities.

AFNTS also works diligently to ensure there is a secure videoconference connection to each health and treatment centre. A majority of our  telehealth sites are equipped with top-of-the-line telehealth technology - with locations being equipped with Polycom video conference units.

ISC-FNIHB Let's Talk: First Nations Community Health

Let’s Talk: First Nations Community Health is a monthly education series dedicated to sharing professional development and current health information on various health topics to staff working with Indigenous clients. The series is hosted by the AFNTS and ISC-FNIHB to support learning opportunities and conversation.
