Sarah Doucette is the Operations Manager for Atlantic First Nation Tech Services (AFNTS). She has been employed with AFNTS since 2005 and enjoys working with technology and helping others, especially those needing tech support in the Atlantic First Nation health centres and schools.
In her role as Telehealth Coordinator, Sarah has provided a “one-stop” resource for medical professionals, administrators, and videoconferencing technical teams. In 18 years with AFNTS, she has been the primary point of contact between First Nation health centres, First Nation and Inuit Health Branch, and provincial health authorities and regional hospitals in the four Atlantic provinces.
Motivated by her personal goal to bring educational resources to those with learning disabilities, Sarah has her Masters in Education and a Bachelor of Education from St. Francis Xavier University. She also obtained an undergrad from Cape Breton University.
Sarah is from Membertou, a Mi’kmaw community located in Unama’ki (Cape Breton) Nova Scotia. She is the proud mother of three daughters (Calaya, Ella and Jayla). She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and loves to travel.
